ShieldContent acts as an authorized agent of the copyright owner under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)(A)(vi). We submit takedown notices on behalf of content creators who have authorized us in writing to act as their agent.
ShieldContent is a digital content protection platform. We automatically detect unauthorized copies of our clients' content across the internet and submit DMCA takedown notices to hosting providers, CDN operators, and search engines on their behalf.

If you are a content creator and want ShieldContent to manage your DMCA notices, create an account. All takedown activity requires explicit authorization from the rights holder.
If you are a platform operator or hosting provider who received a notice from us and need to verify its authenticity, email us at dmca@shieldcontent.app with the Notice ID included in the original message.
If your content was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake, a formal counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g) must be sent to the service provider that removed the material — the host, platform, or search engine — addressed to their designated agent. ShieldContent does not host content and cannot restore it, and the statutory 10–14 business day restoration period only begins when that provider receives your counter-notice. Sending it to us instead does not start that clock.

Separately from the procedure above, if you believe a notice we submitted was mistaken, write to dmca@shieldcontent.app with the Notice ID and the URL. We review every dispute and, where the objection is well founded, we retract the notice with the recipient and stop further action on that URL. This does not replace or extend your § 512(g) rights above.
ShieldContent maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers. We will provide information to rights holders about infringers upon receipt of a valid legal request.
Submitting false DMCA notices is a violation of 17 U.S.C. § 512(f) and may result in civil liability. ShieldContent verifies that all clients are the legitimate rights holders of the content they register before submitting any notices.
